PLAN'S SCHOOL HOLIDAYS CREATIVE PROJECT

This project aims to give children the opportunity to participate in various interesting activities during school holidays and on Thai Children’s Day in January. It is considered highly beneficial for the children of all PlanToys^® employees, as well as those in nearby communities.

The project encourages children to make good use of their holidays and have fun at the same time. The overall goal of the project is to set the children on the right path in becoming useful members of society.

PlanToys^® spends considerable time and effort to prepare and organize different learning activities for these projects which include the following.

• Tree Planting Excursions – These outings create strong awareness about the environment and encourage conservation.
• Mangrove Forest Planting – The event shows little ones how to preserve the natural habitat of all types of marine life. Many children participate in this great environmental event.
• Beach Cleaning Project – This includes cleaning up and disposing of trash on the beach. Children then learn how to make toys out of suitable objects they have found by combining them with left-over material from PlanToys^®. Children learn ways to make something useful from items that would normally have been discarded as rubbish.
